Disabling password when resuming from suspend

From EasyPeasy Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

This information is known to work for Easy Peasy 1.0

By default, Xandros on the Asus EeePC does not require a password when waking/resuming from a suspended state. Easy Peasy 1.0, however, does. To disable the password requirement, follow these steps as posted by space on the forums...

  1. In Screensaver preferences untick 'lock screen when screensaver is active'.
  2. In terminal, type: gconf-editor > the configuration editor opens > apps > gnome power manager > lock > untick suspend/hibernation options.

You might have to restart for the changes to take effect.

Checked for EP 1.1 - still works.
