Install KDE

Besides gnome, installed by default as the desktop, Easy Peasy also can work fine with KDE. The easiest way to install it, is just connect your eee to the internet and type: sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop

There is an easy way to configure KDE to fit better the eeePC screen without manually adjusting settings in kcontrol or searching for the best programs in repositories. Just go to http://www.upperland.net/kde_eeeubuntu/ and read the instructions to install a packages that contains custom configuration files and dependencies of some useful packages. Advice: this is still a development version.
