Got your Ubuntu installed, you plug in the UTP cable hoping to fast connect the internet and play with packages hoping to install some awesome apps. Set up the parameters, but it's not working!!! Everything seemed fine and you are sure the DNS is working correctly, but it doesn't work. You are probably now thinking, why, why did i change the OS... Older one had everything already working!

Problem is that probably there is a circuit in the Ethernet module architecture that gets filled with electricity during the installation of Ubuntu blocking the network initialization process. So how do we empty it!? The simplest thing in the world...

Turn off > Unplug AC > Take out the battery> Wait a few sec. , then assemble and boot the system

When you boot up the system everything will be working fine! It happened to me on my 4G and to some other people i saw on the net. Maybe newer ASUS eee versions do not have that bug! :)
